To start with I live in the Pacific Northwest. Having lived in numerous other states I consider myself lucky to currently live in an area that has beautiful mountains, forest, lakes and Coast.
Currently I work in the software support field which is both fun and challenging. It is not uncommon for a client to use a software support person as their companies IT support (we are usually easier to get a hold of) and we usually try to help unless it’s a clearly unreasonable request.
Technology is a hobby I also enjoy in my time off. I also love the outdoors and enjoy hiking and geocaching when weather and time permits. Geocaching combines hiking with hide and seek using a handheld GPS unit. Reading has always been something I enjoy though I readily admit that my “to read” pile is fairly high.
As I feel giving back to the community is important I volunteer as Vice President on the Board of Directors for the Lupus Foundation of America, Pacific Northwest Chapter.
