In order to maintain consistency for anyone that chooses to read my blog I have decided to define the purpose of my blog. By defining the purpose I can then focus on providing content which serves the purpose and does not stray.
The purpose of my blog is to discuss topics related to technology (including social media), the environment, and occasional topics of personal interest that I feel will benefit others.
It may seem that this is a diverse list which defeats the purpose of providing focused content though I feel that they are more connected than not. Geocaching and outdoor photography are a couple of examples which will be included as part of my content. I hope that my posts will show some degree of consistency and that the readers drawn to my blog will find the listed subjects interesting.
One area that I did not want to neglect is the need to serve my community and humanity as a whole when possible. In past years I have volunteered at numerous organizations in various roles. While the primary focus of my blog will be technology and the environment I do intend to add content related to giving back and helping out.
